New Life for University Profilers

Three profilers my dear friend Professor Rodney Ackmann (University of Oklahoma) sent for servicing: two Pfeifer profilers (center and right) and a no-name profiler. My usual procedure is to first test the machines in the condition they arrive. I keep track of the measurements of the processed cane, before changing anything or disassembling them. In some cases that isn't possible because the carriage won't move or the blade is totally worn out. I then set up according to the thickness specs the owner of the machine asks me for. Rod asked me to also make hardwood bases for them as well.
