No-Name gouger— basket case (literally!)

Continuing my postings of examples of bassoon reed making machines I have serviced here is an example of a no-name gouging machine that arrived as a box of parts. The owner said it must have been dropped. The long triangular piece that adjusts the depth of the gouge was completely bent and the adjuster on the far right inside of the bottom triangular part of the adjuster was broken off. That adjuster had to be fabricated. Once cleaned and put back together with the blade sharpened it worked quite well.
